From: $250.00

Step on to Civil War Battlefield!

Sold By: John Kvach

Description

Walk in the footsteps of the soldiers who fought, sacrificed, and died for the cause they believed at the Battle of Shiloh during the American Civil War. Let national award-winning historian and author, Dr. John F. Kvach take you on an all-inclusive day trip to the Battle of Shiloh to see all of the landmarks that made Bloody Shiloh earn its name.

We will explore the Visitor Museum, watch the Movie, and visit the Bookstore before going out into the field to drive and walk the Battlefield with a guide who understands the balance between learning and being entertained. We will picnic in the field and end the day with a dinner at the famous Hagy’s Catfish Hotel (don’t worry there is more to eat than catfish.)

Each trip is a custom journey that begins and ends with you. It starts with a conversation that allows you to understand the context, importance, and details of the first great battle of the Civil War. With a structured itinerary in place that includes all transportation, food, and fees, you can sit back, relax, and take in a full day of history and fun. Don’t worry . . . there are no boring lectures or quizzes; just a fun day in the field.
